I don’t know about you, but I usually have several projects on the go. At least one of them needs to be an easy knit that doesn’t require too much concentration so that I have an excuse to relax and watch TV or a movie and keep my hands busy at the same time. This pin-stripe scarf knitting pattern is one of them.
Elmarie knitted up this beautiful scarf, which can easily be used as a shawl or wrap too, and we’ve called it our Pin Stripe Scarf, although clearly, it’s a lot more colourful than the standard pin-stripe suit!
It’s one of our favourite scarf patterns for a beginner also as it’s not much more than plain and purl and learning to use different colours.

Finish away your ends, gently hand wash, block and you’re good to go.
K1TBL Knit 1 through back of loop. On a normal knit stitch you’re knitting through the front loop, you should knit into the back of the stitch for this one.
Please be advised that we don’t include the knitting needles, they’re a bit tricky to ship and many people have their own or they’re readily available from your local yarn store.
We’ve also put together two alternative colour combinations.
The Perfect Pinks come with a Sable background.
If you prefer Beautiful Blues these are standard with a Silver Fox background
