Shuttleworth Weaving at work

I was in KZN recently and made sure I had time to visit Andy and Helen at Shuttleworth Weaving, just outside Nottingham Road. They’re seasoned professionals in the wool and weaving world and it was wonderful to have a look at some of the work they do.

I’m always most fascinated by what goes on behind-the-scenes so Helen took me into their workshop and gave me some insight into their tools and techniques as we talked spinning and plying and compared notes on spinning wheels and other equipment.
