It’s really worth the effort to knit this stunning signature piece.
When considering your yarn colours pick a strong contrast or you won’t see the details of the rib.
If you like the reversible effect and want to achieve it with your knit remember to use your multi-colour yarn for the knit stitches. This will become the float yarn on the back.
Merino DK is a great yarn for this project and the end result is a warm and cosy cowl that will definitely be well used.
We’ve chosen three colour combinations and set up a custom option to make it easy for you to choose your own colours also:
– Under Pressure with Charcoal (one of the samples pictured)
– Say A Little Prayer with Cape Storm (one of the samples pictured)
– Bette Midler / African Violet
The pattern is written for 4.5mm / 7US knitting needles but you may need to go up or down a needle size to achieve the gauge.
It’s a one size pattern that should measure ~25cm/9″ across at the neck, ~40cm/16″ long and ~50cm/20″ across at the bottom edge.
