Fluffy – Diana Ross

Fluffy Mohair is a versatile, double knitting-ish, weight yarn. It’s soft, light and an easy introduction to mohair. And you can knit it with a huge range of needle sizes. Use a 5mm for more standard gauge fabric, or work your way up to 15mm for a light, loose fabric full of drape.

Diana Ross is famous for so many songs about love, and what’s not to love about this colourway.  It’s muted, but we hope the pink and blue splashes will make you “Stop! In the Name of Love”.

Diana Ross had an incredible career, firstly as the lead singer of The Supremes, one of the world’s best selling “girl” groups of all time, and then as a solo artist. Her first solo hit was “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” but this colourway has us thinking of many of her softer songs, like “Do You Know Where You’re Going To” and “Endless Love”.  If you’re looking for gentle and dreamy then combine it with Sable or Faded Rose.  Or start a “Chain Reaction” and make it zing with Hot Pink, or Aubergine, because it’s full of personality too!

Since our colours are hand dyed in small batches there is variation between batches, and even within a batch.  We have a process and ingredients for each colour recipe, but can’t control how the colours “land” each time.
If you’re looking for a sweater quantity please let us know and we will dye up a batch specially for you.
