“You’re So Vain” was one of Carly Simon’s biggest hits, but this colourway definitely isn’t an attention seeker.
The blues are soft and subtle, and streaked with gold. More in tune with another huge Carly Simon song “Let the River Run” from the 1988 movie Working Girl, which she composed, wrote and performed solo.
As a colourway she’ll perform beautifully as a solo act. But if colourwork is more your thing: Silver Fox will keep it calm, Seagrass or Airforce stick with the watery feel, or pair it with Mustard for a strong contrast.
Since our colours are hand dyed in small batches there is variation between batches, and even within a batch. We have a process and ingredients for each colour recipe, but can’t control how the colours “land” each time.
If you’re looking for a sweater quantity please let us know and we will dye up a batch specially for you.
